NZAZA (I Will Come) - An Intercultural Music Project
Nzaza is a music and film project made by Ndimbira Claudine Shenge together with Pop Akademie students (Mannheim - Germany) and other professional musicians from Mannheim. It was made possible by the cooperation between the Film Academy Baden-Wuerttemberg (Ludwigsburg - Germany) and the Pop Akademie. Altogether, the musicians worked on a 8 minutes Rwandan traditional song. But as they all come from different countries, their cultures are presented in it as well.
UMWANA NK'ABANDI
UMWANA NK'ABANDI is a song by Ndimbira Claudine Shenge, produced by Alain Mukuralinda, in the project called Hanga Higa. The people seen in the video are Shenge's friends who liked the song and wanted to help her sharing the message by appearing in this music video.

Founded in 2019 for the production of the short documentary film entitled “Lend Me Your Voice”, BA UCURA PRODUCTIONS Ltd is a new independent production company based in Kigali, Rwanda. From the beginning of its existence, the company’s target is to be specialized in documentaries and fiction films.
BA UCURA PRODUCTIONS Ltd is mainly interested in the production of films dealing with powerful human stories, cultural, social, and human rights issues. The company also strives to co-produce with other film companies from African countries where there are many important stories that need to be told. The owner and manager Ndimbira Claudine (Shenge) has a unique experience as a director of documentaries and short fiction films mostly on taboo topics that are not often talked about openly in Rwanda.
Additionally, BA UCURA PRODUCTIONS Ltd aims to include great unique old Rwandan tales among its film production projects in future.
THE FILMMAKER & SINGER/ SONGWRITER
Ndimbira Claudine (Shenge) is a Rwandan filmmaker who resides in Kigali, born on the 4th of April 1990.
After her secondary studies, Shenge followed a 3-month short course in digital filmmaking at Kwetu Film Institute. Since then she has been to several different workshops and masterclasses in different filmmaking departments and has also been part of the International class at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, between the year 2017 and 2018.
Shenge made her first short film as a director in 2013, since then she has done a few other films as a scriptwriter, director, and producer. Shenge's films made it into different festivals, some of them are the Pan African Film Festival – Los Angeles, the AFRIKAMERA Film Festival – Berlin, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival, and Afrika Filmfestival – Leuven.
Ndimbira Claudine (Shenge) is a woman with an ambition to be on the top in her work. She is courageous, kind, and open to new experiences.
